Nights with the band

The days are longer, the nights are cooler; what better way to spend your summer nights than enjoying live music. Whether it’s a large outdoor venue, a concert hall, or an intimate indoor gathering; live music always has the ability to bring community together in its uniquely harmonious way.

The Sound Wall. Opelika, AL

The Sound Wall in Opelika, Alabama is a welcoming center to artists who travel hundreds of miles to play the intimate, masterfully renovated space.

Most recently, the Sound Wall audience was captivated by Bryan Elijah Smith

and Leon Majcen.

This collection of singer/songsmiths traveled from Virginia, New York, and Florida to pour their skillful sounds, and story telling lyrics into the heart of Opelika.

The best part of intimate concerts like what the Sound Wall can provide, is the sense of connection you receive with the musicians. You can find out more about their journey on the road, their inspirations, and maybe even enjoy a drink together. Many venues have adopted the BYOB (bring your own beer/wine) policy to enhance the community atmosphere. BYOB is great, and it is even better when you can tote your beverages fashionably. Northern Flicker, a lifestyle store founded by music and art appreciators who wanted to share their great finds with others, now carries wine bottle totes. These bags are the perfect size to carry two wine bottles. The durable, affordable, and unisex totes go hand in hand with the lifestyle of the music appreciators everywhere. So when you go to enjoy a concert, eat out with friends, or attend any event that is BYOB, you know you can tote your favorite wine easily and in style.

Make sure to check out the Northern Flicker website! And take a peek what’s going at The Sound Wall to hear these and other artists.
